Pastor H. Patrick Hammond

Pastor Hammond was born and raised in the Central District of Seattle Washington. He is currently employed with Seattle City Light as a Power Structure Mechanic/Crew Chief for the civil construction division. He grew up in the fast lane of life, getting involved in drugs, alcohol, and gang violence. As a teenager, Pastor Hammond hung out with the wrong crowd, and on a number of occasions found himself incarcerated. His life was spiraling downhill and fast, but God had other plans for him. At the age of 24, Pastor Hammond had a profound encounter with God in the living room of his house. The voice of God spoke to him and called him to the ministry. In just one night, God had taken away over ten years of drugs and alcohol.

Pastor Hammond accepted his call to the ministry and was licensed as a minister at Fountain of life Christian Center, Pastor Michael and Robin Tramble, in 1993. He later joined Abundant Life Christian Center, Pastor George and Brenda Frost, where he received extensive training, was ordained, and served as an elder for seven years. He also received a certificate of completion from Ambassadors Training Academy and Fresh Fire Prophetic Ministry, LLC.

He earned master degrees in Theology and Religious Education from Seattle Urban Bible College where, in his final year, he taught as professor of New Testament Studies and Spiritual Leadership. He currently serves as Sr. Pastor of New Destiny Christian Center Church formerly Higher Praise Christian Center. God has blessed and anointed Pastor Hammond to preach and teach the Word of God in a inspiring, uncompromising and life changing way.

Pastor Hammond is known for his gift to not only preach and teach but "treach" the Word of God. Pastor and his wife Crystal have been together for over 39 years, 29 as husband and wife. God has blessed them with three boys, Patrick, Christopher, and Desean.
